Hey there!
You're probably wondering why it's called Marina Interiors if my name is actually Chelsea. Allow me to explain, Marina is my middle name. It’s not a very common name where I'm from but I love it and I thought it would be a perfect name for my business. Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to share with you my design journey.
It all started when I applied to the interior design program at Cégep de l'Outaouais. In the summer of my second year I received a message asking if wanted a job in the industry. Ecstatic, I began working part-time for that design firm that specialized in custom cabinetry. Once I graduated, I worked full-time and gained so much experience with client meetings, kitchen design and much more.
Suddenly I found myself out of work when the first lockdown happened in our area. I then worked for a high end interior decorating firm. The pandemic, despite turning our lives upside down, allowed me to think more about what I wanted to do with my career. My education and work experience has allowed me to acquire technical design skills as well as styling and project management skills.
My goal with Marina Interiors is to offer an affordable approach to design services.
What is E-design?
It’s an interior design service that is performed completely online. With everything online, I'm able to provide design services to anyone across Canada. E-design is also an eco-friendly option since it is completely paperless.
