Summer Must-Haves

Summer is finally here! The weather is looking promising from now on, let’s hope we don’t get bombarded with thunderstorms all season long. I’m looking forward to spending as much time as I can outside, doing the things I love most. This spring was dedicated to making our backyard ready for summer nights lounging with a cocktail in hand, cooking up a storm on the BBQ, and getting to enjoy outdoor dining in our private backyard oasis. Our yard needed a lot of TLC but we’re really proud of how it’s turning out. I thought I would round up a couple of my favourite items for the home as well as a few items for impromptu beach days and picnics in the park.

1: Beach Chair 69$ This low beach chair makes sitting on the sand or grass a lot more comfortable. It also comes in blue and red.

2: Patterned Picnic Blanket 30$ These kinds of blankets are perfect for sitting on the ground. They are lined with a water-repellent plastic backing. We always leave it in our car and it’s so easy to pack up and carry.

3: Jute-blend Cooler Bag 30$ A stylish tote bag perfect for keeping your snacks and drinks cold.

4: Utsund 25$ These patio lights are lightweight and create mood lighting for evening dining or lounging.

5: Round Placemats 7$ This affordable set of 2 elevates any outdoor dining space. Bonus, they come in multiple neutral shades!!

6: Salladskal 40$ It’s the best seller for a reason. Great for watering all the planters around the yard.

7: Glass Pitcher 29$ This wonderful 2L pitcher is great for sangria and lemon water because it has a strainer lid to keep fruit from falling out and making a mess because we have all been through that struggle before.

8: Lacko Armchair 75$ each. You can also add seat cushions to make these chairs even more comfortable. I love the woven detail on these chairs. If you are not into the armrests, there’s another Lacko chair without them!
